Josh Neppel
President
Josh is from Highlands Ranch, CO, and is a senior at the Quinlan School of Business studying finance and information systems & analytics. He was a Private Credit Underwriting Intern at Monroe Capital and an Investment Management Intern at William Blair & Company. Josh is interested in pursuing a career in investment management following graduation. In his free time, Josh enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, and skiing.
Patrick Provost
VP of Portfolio Management
Patrick is a junior majoring in finance and information systems from Chicago suburbs. Next summer he will be interning at Fifth Third Bank in the Debt Capital Markets group. Outside of school, Patrick enjoys following sports, weightlifting, and traveling.
Grant Carufel
VP of Macro Research
Grant is from Portland, OR and is a junior studying finance and computer science. He was an investment banking spring analyst at the Peakstone Group and a summer analyst at Enfusion this past summer. Grant is interested in pursuing a career in FinTech or trading post graduation. Outside of school, Grant enjoys playing guitar, reading, backpacking, and skiing.
Thiago Picinini
VP of Investments
Thiago is a sophomore from Brazil in the Quinlan School of Business studying Finance and Information Systems. He worked as an Analyst Intern at RiverNorth Capital Management this past summer and is interested in pursuing a career in asset management following graduation. Outside of school and participating in RIF, Thiago enjoys playing soccer, reading, and keeping up with financial news
David Sagl
VP of Macro Research
David Sagl comes from Prague, Czech Republic. He's currently a junior studying Marketing at the Quinlan School of Business. Recently, David earned his Real Estate License and has plans to work in Real Estate Investment, Commercial Development, and Hospitality. After finishing his degree at Loyola, he intends to attend Law school to get a JD in international law. He has gained experience working as a marketing associate at InQbate and has lined up an internship related to construction and commercial development for the upcoming summer. When he's not busy with his studies or work, David likes to spend his time at the gym, watching movies at the cinema, taking walks downtown, and tasting different foods from around the world.
Jillian Rossman
VP of Macro Research
Jillian grew up in Tokyo, Japan and moved to Chicago for university. She is a sophomore at the Quinlan School of Business and is pursuing a minor in History. Over the summer, she interned at August Hill, a global consulting firm for startups, capital providers, and industry partners. She worked directly with a managing director engaged in M&A work as well as with talent acquisition. Her career goals are to be in a position where she can leverage all of her skills and international experiences to conduct business. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym and sauna, singing, and reading.
